Question about opening/closing Philly PA scenes in movie DEVIL?

In the beginning of the movie, they show the Philadelphia skyline, upside down, from a NJ POV. Then, they show the Ben Franklin bridge. At the end of the movie, after the heartfealt talk in the police car, they again show the Ben Franklin bridge. The camera pans from the Philly side to the NJ side. I can't remember if the beginning of the movie pans the opposite way (from NJ to Philly), but they definitely made a point at the end that it was goin back to NJ. Is this a reference perhaps to the NJ devil? Are they trying to indicate the Devil comes across the bridge in the beginning of the movie and at the end, goes back to Jersey? Jersey Devil? Or is it just that Satan happens to live in NJ? Or am I just imagining the whole thing?

Me and my boyfriend broke up about two weeks ago. Yesterday I was really upset because I found out my boyfriend was cheating on me too, one of my best mates came over because he wanted to comfort me. He got all jumpy and made an excuse to leave and he hasn't called or been around since. I did call his mobile once this morning but there was no answer. I have no idea what he was trying to do, if this was comforting me or beyond that. This question is in response to my last question. I found out that my husband was texting a female friend of his that he's known years before meeting me. They never dated but he told he that he found he attractive but he's married now. He got mad at me for snooping through his phone. One of the people who responded told me that he should have came right out and told me he was was texting this girl. That immediately sparked another question. If you are texting someone of the opposite sex even though you are in a relationship would you just come out and tell your partner? I mean really, did I expect my husband to tell me he was texting this girl just to keep everything above board. The old saying is that what you don't know won't hurt you but eventually what's done in the dark does come to light. Is it wrong to expect your mate to tell you who they are texting and what they are texting about? Help with accents in dialogue?

Depends on the accent. If the accent makes it difficult for the other characters to understand then show the accent in the dialogue *when* that other character can't understand them. Otherwise, only note the accent once or twice and write it out normally. If you write out the accents too much, readers will quickly grow tired of it. Also, substitute poor grammar and word choice to indicate an accent. Good luck.

this looks like a very solid team. freeman is very underrated, blount and gore are both very productive backs, williams has a good past but idk about the future, try and trade him to one of the guys in your league that dont know much, your wide reciever core is probably the best 2 in the game, the only problem is the qb situation with both of them but it should be fine, clark is always good with manning throwing to him, packers d is one of the best, and then you have a solid kicker. the only change i would make with your bench is drop miller or pettigrew early in the season for a rb or wr that came out of no where. you don't need 3 te's, especially since clark will be your starter almost every week but still very nice looking team

New pet scorpion- Care tips/help?!?

This is terrible(no offence) The substrate should not be sand. They cant burrow easily in it and it retains almost no moisture. The substrate should be peat moss, vermiculite, peat moss/vermiculite mix, or coco nut fiber. I personally use coconut fiber. There should be at least 4 inches of substrate so they can burrow. The tank size and hides is right. They need humidity of at least 80%. They are a tropical species of scorpion. They do not like light so replace the light it has with an infrared bulb(they cant see infrared) or the ceramic heat emitter. The ceramic heat emitter is preferable because it produces no light at all. If your worried about it being to hot than but a thermostat to turn it down. That's what I did. I like to keep the humidity really high so I spray the cage 2-3 times a day heavily. I also pour some water in a corner so it can go to the bottom of the tank and absorb into the substrate to keep the humidity up all day. I do that twice daily. Buy a humidity/temperature gauge at Walmart. There about 10 dollars. They will just about anything that moves. Sometimes they even eat each other. its recommended to keep them singly but they can be housed together without too many problems. They are found in colonies in the wild. Don't feed them wild things cause they might have pesticides on them and contain parasites. idk how often they molt but i know they molt six times than they they stop. Its very hard to distinguish a male from a female. Take good care of your scorpion and don't listen to these people I know what im doing.

I suggest counseling as soon as possible because it sounds like you know what the problem is but you just don't know how to help yourself from becoming this way. Can anyone tell me who Yuki ends up with in Vampire Knights?

I've seen the anime which was typical....frustratingly anime. I know Yuki goes with Kaname (which I LOVE) but it's clear that she and Zero are in love as well. This is a tough one for me because Kaname is a die hard do anything, sacrifice anything for Yuki, who doesn't love that?! But Zero has the whole wounded warrior I don't care about my life or anyone other than you which I am a total sucker for. When push comes to shove though I love Yuki and Kaname because he was there tried and true always loving her telling her and protecting her. Zero keeps Yuki at arms length like the rest of the world 90% of the time and only rarely shares his feelings for her. Hamsters, Turtles, or Fish?

I used to have a pet hamster but one had a disease. Then I got another one and it died because of old age. (I had no idea it was old, the 1st one had green poop.) I have all the supplies for a hamster, cage, food, and all that other stuff. I want to convince my parents to let me get another hamster. When I get the hamster, I want them to have babies! I used to have a turtle but it died in a cold fish tank. (long story) When I had that turtle I bought another one to keep it company. The 2nd turtle kept fighting my 1st one, so we set it free. (They were both boys.) I used to have fish but they all died 1 by 1 some mysterious reason...well anyways if I get fish I want them to mate too and have fish babies!!! You could open with X disposing of Y's body, but not say explicitly that it's X. Like, give one or two very vague hints about the identity of the person disposing of Y. Are my goldfish fighting or mating?

Well I have 4 goldfish in a huge tank together and there all probably about 2 and a half inches, except for the one thats probably about 3 and a half or 4. You should do whatever POV the story needs to be told in. That should be pretty easy to determine. I don't believe anyone should limit themselves to one pov or genre or whatevee. The more flexible you are, the easier it will be to write stories.

Question. I've always been a neatly groomed guy. I've also always been a "hairy" guy. I mean, i'm Italian, 'nough said. I keep my eyebrows, neck & shoulders, and back at bay, but lately i've been noticing that the hair on my chest, arms, and legs is pretty crazy long. The dilemma lies in shaving. As I said i've been a trimmer before. Problem is that my hair is very course and when it's cut or trimmed it becomes like a freakin' dagger. It pokes through clothing (chest) and just plain doesn't look right so its better if its long in that respect. I've heard from women over the years that when you wax or use a product like Nair, the hair grows back finer when it gets longer because it's not cut off, it's actually regrowing from the follicle out. Is that true? Never done it. would it be worth it to just set the palette back to zero, as it were, and do a complete leg, arm and chest wax and let it grow back in and start from there? It's kind of embarrassing to ask being 30, but it seems to be the way to go these days. Its not an effort to get the girl, I'm engaged to a beautiful girl, but i don't want to head to the beach this summer and embarrass her being the wolfman and all - even though she says she doesn't mind at all and "who cares what other people think" (which is why i'm asking here - its impossible to get an objective answer from her on this). I read a few books by this author and they were romance books and kinda cute. But I can't remember the authors name or the book titles. All I remember is that the books were written in different point of views. Like one chapter would be one characters pov and the next would be a seconds characters. And in one book the first half was the girls pov and it told the story. BUT when we checked under the hood, I noticed there were 2 blue digits markings on top on the transmission. How do i know if the car's transmission was touched/tampered, you know. The digits were like hand written with "37" Is this normal or what? I am writing a fantasy novel about a 10 year old girl who discovers a alternate dimension. Being a girl myself, I have trouble remembering what it was like to be 10 years old. There is this guy that I use to work with (in different departments) and i had a little crush on him and he would always stare at me and then look away and not make eye contact. I personally think it might be best to go to court or at least seek legal advice because your situation with this roommate is so complicated. Basically the situation is such that getting both is close to impossible.. one is true love which is once in a lifetime thing and the other is trying out in a career in bollywood (music industry) where something may happen or may not at all but if it does then all the things like fame & money are worth leaving the only person u love? family support is there for trying out but from the lover's point of view, stability in life with job and a settled life is very important rather than giving years to something so uncertain. Another point from the lover's pov is that obollywood's fame is very momentary and that one should think about life more practically. After all this, what's the sensible step? going with your family's wish to try at the stake of your lover or just forgetting about the talent (which was once a dream) beacuse it involves uncertainty etc.. ?? please give your view keeping all factors in mind. thankyou.

Sounds great! I would definitely read more. I thought your description was good but I think you need a teensy-weensy bit more in between the dialogue. Describe changes in the environment, character actions, etc. If there isn't much of this at parts, than make some! Droning dialogue is boring and can lead readers to turn away. You did pretty good with a few mini-paragraphs in between but you need a little bit more to break it up.

I have heard very little on this subject. It seems people believe that god created us just as we are now, or that we have evolved over millions of years from a magical big bang. I think that there is a god. But I also think that god created us to adapt knowing that the world would change and we would need to change with it. I also think it is possible that when man started to roam the earth and starting mating with other races and cultures it has stopped us from evolving. What tense to use in novel?

I prefer past tense because that is what I am used to reading. Also, as a bit of a writer myself, I feel writing in the past tense is easier and tends to sound less forced.

With that number of players, I would advise to have several games and gaming tables available. It's very difficult to corral that many people into one game. Have a mix of old and new games available, help people find their way into groups, and the result should be a good time by everyone.
