Changing point of view in first person?

For young adult I would write just one view point character per scene or chapter, switching from POV's in the same scene or chapter only works if up front the reader knows it is the omniscient third person POV, which isn't very intimate and may not be appropriate for young adult. Another way to have other characters insert their thoughts or emotions into the story is through compelling dialogue with the POV character.
