Isn't possible that god created us to adapt?

I have heard very little on this subject. It seems people believe that god created us just as we are now, or that we have evolved over millions of years from a magical big bang. I think that there is a god. But I also think that god created us to adapt knowing that the world would change and we would need to change with it. I also think it is possible that when man started to roam the earth and starting mating with other races and cultures it has stopped us from evolving. Now I know this goes against the bible. but come on the bible forgot to mention dinosaurs when talking about creation.
