Atheists:I'm atheist & I think a belief in god is just as valid as a disbelief in god - what are your thoughts?

This would be like saying that belief in unicorns is just as valid as disbelief in unicorns. Neither can be proven with complete certainty, but I think they have two different levels of validity.
